Not As Good As You Would Expect!

I purchased this enclosure so I could put a new drive in it and transfer data from my old drive to this. I was then planning to put the old drive in this enclosure and use it as an external drive.
However, after completing the data transfer I tried to take the drive out and replace it with the old drive, the plastic clips at the rear of the case which hold the top and bottom covers collapsed and this made it impossible to make the two side covers stay attached to the enclosure.
The side covers are strong enough, the PCB which holds the connectors comes out, which does make it easier to put the drive in the enclosure, but the plastic middle section which has the clips are very flimsy and break easily.
If you want to just buy the enclosure and a drive and put the drive in the enclosure once, then no problems, but if you want to use this to swap drives now and again, don’t bother as it won’t last long.
