The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual is a high-performance dual-bay external storage enclosure designed for professionals who demand reliable, flexible, and fast data storage. Compatible with two 3.5-inch SATA hard drives, it provides multiple hardware RAID options, making it ideal for video editing, photography, content creation, backups, and large project archives.
Choose between RAID 0 for maximum speed, RAID 1 for automatic data mirroring, Span to combine both drives into one large volume, or Independent (JBOD) mode to use each drive separately. Switching between RAID modes is quick and simple using the built-in hardware selector.
With USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gb/s) and eSATA connectivity, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual integrates easily with a wide range of Windows and Mac systems while delivering transfer speeds of up to 407MB/s for smooth handling of high-resolution media files and demanding workloads.
Its durable brushed aluminum enclosure is engineered for efficient heat dissipation and features a quiet, low-noise cooling fan to keep drives running at optimal temperatures. Front-mounted LED indicators provide clear drive status at a glance, while intelligent power management automatically spins down inactive drives to reduce energy consumption and extend drive lifespan.
To help you get started immediately, the enclosure includes both USB 3.2 and eSATA cables, eliminating the need for additional accessories.
