Convert any 70mm or 50mm PATA IDE Mini PCI-e SSD into an external USB 2.0 drive or simply use it for easily accessing a drive once it's been removed from computer.
This Mini PCI-Express SSD enclosure is ideal for turning one of those SSDs into an external storage device, or for re-using the factory-supplied SSD as an additional storage device.
Once you have installed your new RunCore SSD in your netbook, simply remove the old SSD and install it in this external USB enclosure to give you a well designed, slim storage device.
Includes USB cable and mounting screws. Internal interface: PATA IDE Mini PCI-e.
Suitable for both 50mm and 70mm Mini PCI-Express SSDs.

I bought this enclosure for a spare 8GB STEC from my Dell Mini 9. It was easy to install and works without problems.
The supplied USB cable has split USB connectors for possibly more power.
