With DDR5 just around the corner??

Bought as an experiment to reactivate an old ASRock N68C with DDR2 RAM (strange but flexible old MB, 2 slots DDR2, 2 slots DDR3) - forget it, the FSB and an AMD 905E were just too slow for WIN 10.
However, it went into a 2013 ASRock 990FX with 8GB DDR3 of just the next speed up - and a significant improvement. Still some life there. And Win 7 is still good.
MemoryC are playing a blinder here, and Corsair has always been my favourite - can't remember a RAM blowout in 30 years!!.
