Worked out of the box. Some instructions would be helpful, only for connecting the cable to the interface which is a little tricky. Otherwise, it works and increased the speed on my old HP mini 1000.

The drive was shipped very quickly from the NC warehouse. This drive was an exact fit for the original Aspire One A110 with the 40-pin PATA ZIF connector. The netbook correctly recognized the drive and I was able to install OS Debian Linux without any issues. I recommend this drive.

My wife's hard drive was on the way out, so I replaced it with this SSD, which is faster and has more capacity. The replacement was fairly simple. My only suggestion is that the foam won't come off the old hard drive, so it would be helpful to include a couple of sticky foam rectangles with the SSD.
