Details
Converter cables for connecting any 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA or IDE hard drive to an external USB3.0 port. Includes SATA and IDE connections, data cables and power cable. High-speed data transfer, ideal for backing up drives, cloning hard drives or simply accessing data on any hard disk.
Connecting this SATA/IDE adapter cable is straight forward; Connect the hard drive (SATA or IDE connection) to the adapter, and plug the cable into a USB3.0 port on any PC or laptop. Next connect the power cable straight into the IDE power socket, or in the case of SATA drives, connect the SATA cable to the hard drive. The hard drive will then appear on your computer as a new external hard drive.
Also backwards compatible with USB2.0 systems. This adapter cable is also suitable for DVD-ROM, CD-ROM and other drives.
