Featuring a preconfigured RAID0 striped set with built-in 2TB hard disks through the 10Gb/s Thunderbolt interface, it delivers astonishing transfer rates. Reach read speeds of up to 150MB/s with this hard disk model. Now you can truly get the power of fibre channel rackmount storage--in a portable solution!

You can even daisy chain multiple Little Big Disks together to increase overall transfer rates. The more products you chain together, the higher performance you get. Daisy chain four Little Big Disks with SSDs to maximize Thunderbolt interface capabilities and reach transfer rates of around 782MB/s.

Use Disk Utility on your Mac OS to configure the Little Big Disk Thunderbolt Series into a RAID array that suits your needs. It's possible to set it up as a mirrored RAID set (RAID 1), which provides data protection if one disk fails. Alternatively, configure it as a striped RAID set (RAID 0) to maximize speed and capacity for large file storage and fast transfers.

Opt for the hard disk version and get up to 2TB storage capacity per unit (up to 240GB with SSD version). While presenting their work to a client, photographers can browse smoothly through photos in their digital libraries while experiencing zero lag time. Away from the studio, videographers can dramatically reduce the time to publish a project. They simply download their footage directly from a compatible camera to the Little Big Disk to start the editing process on the field. What's more, its front power button allows you to turn off the Little Big Disk without breaking a daisy chain, always with energy conservation in mind.
