I bought a 500GB Transcend USB3.0 StoreJet 25 some months ago to store all my photographs.
I scanned all (11) family photo albums and saved them all on to the StoreJet. I also transferred all digital photos held on all the family members' cameras and lap-tops on to the StoreJet. After all of this, I found I had only used 60.1GB of the 465GB capacity - less that 8% of hard disk!
After sorting all the photos into unique folders, it turned out so well I bought a second one to use as a back-up!
