This SSD enclosure is really well made and the fit and finish is excellent. It even came with a nice carrying pouch. The item's packaging is excellent to the extreme -- worthy of gift giving. Also the vendor packed the item well for shipping and shipping was quick. Very satisfied with the product and service. Great communication too.

Used this to re-cycle the HDD I had removed from my laptop after upgrading to SSD. ZIF connection a bit fiddly but ended up with useful additional storage.

I have used it with my old HTC Shift Toshiba ZIF Disk 34 Gb, and it's a very good case, easy yo mount and feels strong and durable.

This product seems robust and cool ... it works perfect with my old disk (IDE) althought it's for SSD disks.

I had an old toshiba zif drive from a u/s sony laptop. i'd read about some issues on amazon with reference this drive especially the flat cable connector. I was glad to find they were unfounded... the cable easily fitted the push in on the zif drive and the whole job was done in under a minute. I tested it on my macbook air and on my xps and was seen my both. reformated the drive to suit my needs and its been perfect since.. nice and small and the wee bag supplied keeps it clean in my backpack/pocket...

so far I'd recommend this if you have a spare zig drive lying around.. from an old mp3 player/laptop

Any standard ZIF drive should fit without problems

The included ZIF flat cable should be flexible enough to permit a decent cabling and the foam paddles are suitable to stop the internal drive from moving too much
