The antistatic cuff is used by experienced electronics engineers and PC technicians to protect themselves from static charging when working on the PC or other sensitive electronic devices. The cuff is buckled around the wrist and the crocodile clip at the other end of the spiral cord is clamped to a grounded metal surface (e.g. radiator etc.)
