Details
Black is a CNC machined retention backplate made from black anodized aluminum for the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3080 - Special Edition water block.
The backplate covers the backside of the graphics card's PCB and serves as an aesthetic add-on. It provides additional passive cooling for the GPU core and rear of the printed circuit board VRM section. Due to the small size of both the card and the water block, the backplate boasts a ribbed design for additional passive cooling power.
