be quiet shadow rock slim

This cooler was supposed to be socket939 compatible but it isn't, the base plate is secured by 4 screws and has no rocker bridge so cannot be fixed to 939 boards and if my memory serves me well it wouldn't suit socket 754 either. So that said if used as an am2/3/4 cooler it's performance would only be middling for a 14cm fan and whilst it is just slim enough to allow use of the first ram slot it is also very tall, you need a case that is 20cm wide to be able to fit it. I'm going to retrofit the shadow rock slim in my am 2+ phenomII 940 as it is better than the hyper evo 212 i currently have fitted. Meanwhile i'm still searching for a 939 cooler for my 4800+ dual core.
