Bought this drive to refresh my aging Toshiba Portege R600 laptop. Clean install of Windows 7, and this drive has totally transformed the machine.
Boots fully now in about 20 seconds as opposed to 3 minutes with the old mechanical HDD, even though my SATA connector is only 3Gbit/s and this drive is capable of 6Gbit/s.
I have been using it for about a week and a half now without any problems.
My laptop is so much more responsive..I was just going to use this SSD as a stop-gap until I got a new laptop when the new Haswell processor comes out, but I think I might hold onto it now!!
