ZTC Cyclone ZIF Solid State Disk is designed for earlier compact notebooks using the 40-pin ZIF interface. This ZIF SSD is based on internal PATA interface, and external 40-pin ZIF ribbon interface. Built using premium MLC NAND Flash chips and supports read speeds up to 110MB/sec and read speeds up to 65MB/sec.
This proprietary 1.8-inch form factor ZTC Cyclone ZIF SSD is suitable for MacBook Air early ZIF-based editions, Fujitsu U1010 and many other slim-line notebooks equipped with ZIF SSD.

After replace it by a hard disk (plates) the laptop now runs super fast and fluid. A real wonder to be able to continue running Microsoft Windows 10 from laptop of 2008, fantastic!
Not is comparable to the technology current SATA SSD disc but in relation to the original hard disc incorporated of factory in the equipment the change is wonderful.

Great replacement drive, I used it to replace the factory 4200rpm ZIF PATA
disk in a laptop (HP/Compaq 2510p). Laptop is now usable with a cold boot
to log in time of less than 30 seconds (Windows 7 Pro). Perfect replacement
for an old 120GB ZIF PATA internal standard laptop drive.
