Very good value for an excellent drive
This is also my first SSD. One can only be satisfied after experiencing flash memory.
Pros: It is fast! I own a Raptor, and I can say it is definitely faster overall.
It's silent, i.e you would not able to hear it. I can only hear my PSU...barely!
Loading up Windows 7 is incredibly fast (the green thing at the startup cannot complete its first lap.
Opening up usual apps like Firefox, Office 2007 is almost instantaneous.
Cons: It is definitely slower when reading/writing very small files (happens during install a lot).
If you get this drive for an O.S you'll be happy, it's not a storage drive and the limited space should discourage you.
Using it with a laptop should really boost up the autonomy, release way way less heat, and boost up overall performance.
I know SLC drives are supposedly better, but I'd rather wait till they come down to a decent price.
Thumbs up for Memoryc for delivering everything in great packaging, in record time, with decent shipping fee.

Good product
Since this is my first SSD, I can not comment about the speed but definitely this SSD is much more faster than the old HDD the laptop had.
